My husband called me on his way home from work yesterday to tell me that he had picked up a little trinket! We are going to the opening Oregon Duck game this weekend and I assumed that it would be something to wear to the event! Well, I got part of that right, as it did come in a bright yellow bag……but with the word Nikon on it! Whoopee, my little trinket is a brand new gorgeous Nikon lens…….!!! Yes it is the 14-24 2.8, perhaps one of the most incredible lenses available today! I only hope that I am worthy of it’s capabilities!!!! Thanks Bobby! Of course I had to race right out and take some shots! I love this lens!
I was shooting these giant sunflowers last night, but I really wanted to shoot them this morning with the sun shining on them! These bad boys are over 10 feet tall, so I am looking up into them! I am going to try to drag Bobby out there tomorrow morning so I can get some perspective!

Trinket????
Frisbee and my Nikon
I spent a lot of time last weekend playing with my camera. I loved being able to practice some fun action shots! I just love how the frisbee is just hanging up there and the focus of this Aussie!
Phlash Got His Title!!
Phlash and I entered a Herding Trial at Brigands last weekend and he got his first herding title! Yay! He passed both of his tests. For those of you who know about these tests, he laid down an almost perfect test on Saturday, which was when he actually got his title. Sunday was just for more experience for moi, more than anything! When I walked up to the gate to begin on Saturday, the judge kindly asked me what breed of dog Phlash was! She went on to say that she had never seen one, let alone judged one and asked what style of herding could be expected? Boy did I have to think on that for a moment…….! I finally said that they were upright like an Aussie and that they really liked their sheep! (Translation…..Phlash likes his a little too much on occasion!) When we came out after the ‘perfect test’ she commented that she “guessed that he did not like his sheep too much today, because he was perfect” Gotta love that!
